Description

The mathematics of stereographic projection retrieves this banded torus from the unit sphere in four-space. The bands’ edges are circles, any two linked. The torus itself is gently tilted in four-space, giving its solid shadow in three-space an enticing asymmetry. More about the math behind this piece is explained in a shop blog post.
This delicate, one-of-a-kind 3/4in (20mm) pendant is 3D printed from 925 silver, polished to a mirror luster on its outer surface, and paired with an adjustable (16 and 18 inch) silver cable chain with a spring clasp.
